First Day in Biarritz

Imagine the beaches of San Diego combined with the food of Paris. That’s the feeling I get here. I took the Eurorail to Biarritz and jumped onto a bus that took me to my AirBnb location. I was there a bit early so I was able to walk around a bit and get a few shots. The first thing I did was walk to the edge of a hill overlooking the beach. The view from the top was incredible.

I walked to the other side and spotted a good view of a Biarritz cathedral and a small bay where there were some boats.

I then walked over to the cathedral and was greeted by a couple of ladies who proceeded to tell me in half French, half English that there was a concert that was just about to begin. It was a choir of 30 men who were singing. The ticket cost 10 Euros, but I couldn’t pass it up. I asked if I could take a few pictures and also video and they said “Wi.”

After taking a couple shots, I walked back to meet my Airbnb host. His name was Arnold and he led me to my room, showed me where everything was, and handed me the keys. After that, I headed to the beach to take a couple shots of the beach at sunset. It was beautiful and the picture doesn’t do it justice.

I walked back up to a cafe overlooking the beach and had a salad. Best salad ever with an incredible view.

Finally, I headed back to my room but before that, took a couple night shots.
