The Glacier Express

The Glacier Express is a train ride which lasts about 6 hours and travels from St. Moritz, through the Swiss Alps, to Zermatt, Switzerland. It’s known as the most beautiful train ride in the world. I booked this a day in advance and was able to get the last seat. I opted out of the meal since it was an additional 20 …

The Matterhorn is one of the largest peaks in the Alps measuring 4,478 metres (14,692 ft) high.  Believe it or not, this shot was taken right from the balcony from my hotel – Hotel Alpha in Zermatt. …

Goodbye Milan, Hello Swiss Alps

Sitting on that bench, I couldn’t believe that I was looking out on that scene. It felt like I could touch the clouds. I just arrived in Switzerland last night from Milan – got a good nights rest and a good breakfast, so I set out to do some hiking. I decided to do the “Rothorn 5 Seenweg” hike which is …
